= Happy Thanksgiving =

Math... The example for the coin toss activity couldn't have worked more perfectly!! =)

It's really kind of exciting to explain to a group of Colombian children why Thanksgiving is so important to the USA (and to me!). They were so interested in the story =) During Library class, they were making books about being Thankful.

Prayer Request:
For the people negatively affected by the abundance of rain we've had this season

Rain is good, but there is such thing as too much of a good thing..

  1. Marissa, I once wrote a program that can simulate billions of coin flips a second and output the results in all sorts of interesting ways.

The thing I happened to be most interested in were streaks of all Heads or all Tails, and the longest I ever saw (in a simulation of hundreds of billions of coin flips) was 38 Heads in a row!

Hope you're having a great time down there.
PS - Can you guess who posted this?
